DiGRA

is the Digital Games Research Asociation and details of the 2005 conference are here. Take a look and don't miss the animation - brilliant!

3 careful considerations:

I once downloaded a freebie animation software disc from a Computer magazine. It was wonderful to play with making shapes like that rhino, only these were just balls and squares, and building them into models by meshing and filling. This was on my old Pentium 1 and it nearly wore it out in making the effort.

Have you seen The Aviator? The computer technology used to create the plane crashes and special effects were brilliant. The film was great as well and Disc 2 showed how they did the effects and battles in the skies. Worth renting for a wet afternoon ;-)

Ah what a great idea - but I don't think it rains much here :-) Have you got any of those animations to show us?

No animations because they all blew up along with my old computer ;-)
