I wonder if I might offer this as an example of the quality of education in this country?

This week I've done a few miles on motorways and it seems that many drivers don't get the concept of "average speed cameras". Thus they tear along in roadworks and then suddenly pull in and slam on the brakes when they see the average speed camera. Once they've passed it they tear off again. Huh?

Always nice when a visitor stays over - Cal in the spare room after an evening of Dr Who, pizza and Waterloo Road.
Tomorrow we'll hang some decorations and visit Waitrose for final bits and because we always go on Christmas Eve.
