Yesterday was this guy's 10th birthday
So we all went to Howletts Zoo and saw lots of animals including tigers and gorillas and elephants (including two baby elephants)

Then we came back here for pizza and fizzy pop and party poppers and balloons and strawberries and cake and then they went home and I spent ages tidying up and that's carried on this morning. It was a smashing day though :-)

8 careful considerations:

Great snaps, Nog, & that's what a 10th birthday should be like :-)

Shoot, I missed it!! I'm so sorry about that!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Little Man!! :)

The zoo trip looks like it was a great outing. I'm glad everyone had loads of fun, even if Dad got stuck with the clean up ;)

Yep, looks like a great time. No humans behind bars at Howletts Zoo though?

PS I am very impressed you got the Buddha to give you a quote for your blog - talk about friends in high places.

No humans behind bars during our visit lobster but Howletts is famously where the owner (John Aspinall) and keepers used to go in with the tigers. I don't know if they still do that since Aspinall died but we've seen animals behind the bars there long before London zoo exhibited them over the weekend. Buddha is in everything and everyone so it's no great trick getting a quote :-)

Thanks JenE - he's cute like his dad.
