Canterbury

Had another day in Canterbury while the garage had the car. They couldn't do the work it was in for because, after spending three hours taking it apart, they found they didn't have the tool they needed to do the task.

Photo taken with the phone - it's a group of monks from the US visiting Canterbury Cathedral.

Funny, I was thinking a lot about nuns yesterday - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/

Fascinating! I'm reposting the link here for those who struggled with it.

Thanks Nog - I just don't seem to be able to master the html.....or perhaps I am trying too hard ;-)

I just had to learn the first 18 lines of the Canterbury Tales for my Chaucer class, too.

"Specially of every shires ende
of Engoland to Canterbury they wende"

You are all the way over there in Maryland and you're wrapping your head round Chaucer and here I am - shortly to drive 4 miles to Christ Church University Canterbury to do a few hours work and although I've read little bits of the work I don't know how the story finishes (but I have a feeling that the butler did it) - we live in a weird dimension.
