Anniversaries

Some of you guys were here in October when I celebrated a year here so lets raise a glass to another one (or two?) anniversaries. 23/10 was the anniversary of my wife and I separating and while it's not something I'd count in the great things I've done it means that I can now apply for a "quickie" divorce and move on. So wherever you are - cheers! Here's to the next few years - per ardua ad astra!

11 careful considerations:

You've come a long way in those two years, Nigel - here's to the future :-)

I wonder if Halmark has a greeting card for that

a job AND a divorce eh? one small step for Mankind but one huge step for Nogbad;-) As bluefluff implies, there is only one way - forward! good luck

LOL! A Hallmark card would be brilliant! A couple of people mailed me privately, not sure whether to be happy or not - yes! Splitting up wasn't great and, as Bluefluff knows, it was tough for a while afterwards but it's all sorted and it feels good to be heading forward :-)))

Life seems to come in stages.

Kat - I think the trick is making sure you are awake enough to recognise the stages and make the best of them isn't it? :-))))

Have you got a new person in your life Nog? I would like to think you have. They'd be a lucky one.

I wouldn't normally be so bold as to ask you this but I've been in the A215 Bar!

To the future.

So are you tipsy Morning? This early in the evening? You are being very bold!

Nogbad said...

Oh Morning! I've just realised why you asked! I'm blown away but what will Morty say? :-))))))))))))))))

And months later I comment...

Hallmark does indeed have a divorce card. The front says, "Some people call it divorce..." and inside it says, "I call it home improvement.

I bought about 15 of them...

Oh. Belated congrats. Freedom is a wonderful thing.
