I use a PDA, it's a Palm Tungsten T3. It's my life away from the PC, it stores contact deatils, my diary, photos and MP3s. It has Word and Excel and I'm teaching myself Backgammon on it. It comes in at a few hundred quid though and thus not a cheap purchase. Now I've found a free personal organiser! It's at PocketMod and looks great!

15 careful considerations:
I use a Sony Ericsson P800 phone...
Wow! PocketMod is cool!
Ace! Sometimes it is quicker to get out a piece of paper and scribble on it. I am going to keep my pocket mod with the PDA. My PDA frightens some people. The pocket mod on the other hand will impress! :-)
What I need now is a method of transfering stuff from the PDA, such as the todo list and diary events to my pocket mod. Can you sort it?
Pen! huh!
On a much more serious note. I am working with homeless people, at the moment, and this piece of paper could actually help to organise their lives. Thanks.
Thank you soooo much for this!
I miss my Palm Pilot sometimes. This might solve a lot for me :)
So we're looking for an interface? Shouldn't be too tricky! Seriously - glad it works Kat and I really hope it helps.
Well here's the Palm Tungsten but I thought you were only speaking Francais ce soir?
hehehe, great find! I am soooo getting my very own pocketmod!
The Tungsten has a touch screen so there is no hassle with the size of my fingers and I read eBooks on it and PDFs of course material. It's also great for writing assignments in the pub!
........and if you have a fold up keyboard it is almost as good as have a laptop with you. In fact it's better because it will all very nicely fit in your handbag, Squid. :-) By the way, how do you fit the phone book in your pocket?
Kat - I've git the folding keyboard too and when opened it's not far short of the size of the laptop keyboard.
Anna - No thanks on the husband but next time I'm in the area (no doubt sorting your emailing issues) he can have a look at the Palm - that help?
Do you keep it in your handbag?
No, Annarid - I wouldn't let a husband go anywhere near my handbag. :-)
Oh Kat - Dave is a nice guy!
