More science for you

According to this article at the New Scientist site looking at mucky pictures can make you go blind!

The idea that people keep these images in their heads and do not concentrate on what immediately follows is just another statement of the bleeding obvious. It is something I think we all knew all along.Oh course things like this are distracting.

If images didn't grab people's attention, advertisers wouldn't bother putting them on billboards.

And the researchers say some personality types appear to be affected more than others by the phenomenon, known as “emotion-induced blindness”.

D'yer think they mean 'lust'.

I've tried sitting on fences but unfortunately I'm not very well balanced. :-)

Me & my mate at UCL knew about that yonks ago, but we called it 'Fanny blindness'. Guess we should have published in Science rather than Razzle, but more scientists read the later.
